Tinubu Receives Ramaphosa And Seeks Stronger Ties Between Nigeria, South Africa

  The meeting came in the wake of Ramaphosa's inauguration and claims of the South African leader snubbing Tinubu at the event. The meeting was hosted by the Nigerian president in Johannesburg, South Africa. In a statement after the meeting, Tinubu’s spokesman Ajuri Ngelale quoted his principal as saying, “I really enjoyed your speech at the ceremony. I was delighted listening to you. We have lots of issues in common, and we need to work more closely together. It was a good celebration”. President Bola Tinubu has concluded his visit to South Africa, meeting with newly inaugurated President Cyril Ramaphosa to discuss strengthening economic and trade ties between the two regional powers. Two crane operators killed in Ukwa East Local Government in Abia State.

It is said to be a sorrowful moment in Ukwa West Local Government in Abia State. Ocheze Ogbonna, a female crane operator at Inner Galaxy Steel Company, Umuahala-Obuzor in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, has been reputedly killed by a Chinese national who wanted to be in a relationship with her. According to the information gathered it was said the Chinese manager pushed her down for not accepting him to have a love advances with her.  However we gathered that their was another incident which happened in the same premises where Ocheze Ogbonna,was alleged killed and the young man named Promise kelechi was stabbed at the cheat but their was no information about the killing. Ganduje Secures Court Order to Halt Kano Probe Commissions

  A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has restrained the two probe commissions instituted by the Kano State Government to investigate the administration of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from exercising their functions. The court, presided over by Justice Simon Amobeda, granted an ex-parte motion stopping the Commissions from conducting any further proceedings pending the determination of the instant suit brought before it by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. In the order, which has the National Judicial Council, Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Attorney-General of Kano State, Justice Farouk Lawan Adamu, and Justice Zuwaira Yusuf as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th respondents, the court restrained the 4th and 5th respondents from performing the functions assigned to them by the Kano Governor in courtrooms meant to adjudicate disputes between persons and authorities in Kano, pending the hearing and determination of the instant...

The  Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has given the Federal Government two weeks to reconstitute the governing councils of the federal universities and also meet its other demands contained in the agreements they signed.   ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodoke, at a press conference, in Abuja, yesterday, said the decision was taken at the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC), which ended in Abuja on Monday. Audit shows Ikpeazu left net credit balance of N3.49bn for Otti –Ex-commissioner

  Chief  John Okiyi-Kalu, former Commissioner for Information in Abia State, has revealed that the Abia Forensic Audit report done by Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG), a multinational professional services network that provides audit, advisory, tax and legal services confirms that former governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, left a net credit balance of N3.48 billion for Governor Alex Otti. Okiyi-Kalu added that against all the negative agenda of the current government against Ikpeazu, he even left more for Otti stressing that cash in the bank was different from other near-cash assets, such as a 3.5 percent share in Aba Independent Power Project (IPP) Geometric which now valued at N80 billion, among others.
