Two crane operators killed in Ukwa East Local Government in Abia State.




It is said to be a sorrowful moment in Ukwa West Local Government in Abia State. Ocheze Ogbonna, a female crane operator at Inner Galaxy Steel Company, Umuahala-Obuzor in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, has been reputedly killed by a Chinese national who wanted to be in a relationship with her.


According to the information gathered it was said the Chinese manager pushed her down for not accepting him to have a love advances with her. 


However we gathered that their was another incident which happened in the same premises where Ocheze Ogbonna,was alleged killed and the young man named Promise kelechi was stabbed at the cheat but their was no information about the killing.



It was alleged that some of the protesting youths were seeking for justice and the soldiers started shooting and one of the youths was shot been taken to FMC hospital by the head of security of the village. 


Meanwhile,the people of Ukwa West Local Government in Abia State are seeking for justice of the two crane operators in the community and the are asking the government of Abia State to come and intervene on the issue at hand .


In a statement made by the brother to the deceased Ocheze Ogbonna, a female crane operator he said she was about to tended her resignation letter two weeks before the incident happened and they asked her to summit a new set of safety boot before the accept her resignation letter.


The people of Ukwa East is calling on the Member Representing Ukwa East/West in the House of Representatives HON. CHRIS NKWONTA, CHIEF DIMGBA ERUBA, Commissioner Representing Abia State in the Board of NDDC, Member Representing Ukwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly HON. GODWIN ADIELE, TC Chairman/Mayor of Ukwa West L.G.A, HON. NEWMAN AZU, all Present and former political Appointees of Asa extraction, Asa Development Union(ADU), the Inspector General of Police, Civil Right Organisation etc to help bring the perpetrator of the heinous crime to justice.
