US Consortium Tables £4.5bn Takeover Bid for Tottenham Hotspur

The Lewis family, current owners of Tottenham Hotspur, have received a huge £4.5 billion takeover bid from a US-based consortium led by tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick.

According to reports, the offer is structured in two parts: £3.3bn directly to the owners and an additional £1.2bn earmarked for strengthening the squad.

Earick, who fronts a 12-member investor group, has assembled backing from individuals with ties to NFL and NBA franchises in the United States. Their proposal also includes a guaranteed £250m naming rights deal for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

An insider revealed that the group believes Spurs already has the infrastructure in place to succeed: “Brooklyn and his team think everything is in place at Tottenham already. Spurs has a world-class stadium and training ground, the infrastructure is all in place. But with the investment they are ready to make, it will be the final step to turn the club into winners on the pitch as well.”

If successful, this deal would mark one of the biggest football takeovers in Premier League history, signaling a fresh era of ambition for the North London club.
