Owerri-Onitsha Road Accident: CP Danjuma Orders Comprehensive Investigation.
Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, Aboki Danjuma, has called for a comprehensive investigation into the fatal accident involving a gas truck and a coaster bus at Awo-Omamma, along the Owerri–Onitsha Road, on Sunday.
Southeastposts gathered that the crash claimed the lives of 12 passengers, including children, who were members of the Deeper Life Bible Church returning from a church programme.
Meanwhile, speaking during an on-the-spot assessment of the scene, Danjuma expressed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, who are receiving treatment in a nearby hospital.
